Executive Summary

Jonathan Espino is a dedicated public servant and community leader with a strong background in governance, education, and social responsibility. A proud alumnus of Manresa School (Batch ‘89), he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at De La Salle University and later obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from De La Salle University Professional Schools.

With an extensive career in public service, Espino served as Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson (1993-1997) and was elected as Barangay Kagawad for three consecutive terms (1997-2010). During his tenure, he chaired crucial committees on Education, Peace & Order, Environment, and Ways & Means, contributing significantly to policies that enhanced community welfare. His legislative efforts include resolutions advocating for youth representation in the national government, health programs for underprivileged youth, and initiatives in sports, peace & order, environment, social services, and education.

Beyond his government service, he actively engaged in non-governmental organizations (NGOs), serving as President of Rotaract B.F. Palanyag, further reinforcing his commitment to community development. His advocacy revolves around continuous improvement in the educational system of Barangay B.F. Homes, promoting good local governance, and fostering social responsibility through an #AttitudeOfGratitude.
