Kagawad Rey Casanova is a dedicated public servant with a background in law enforcement, public safety, and community service. He completed his early education at Dacanlao, Gregorio Agoncillo Elementary School (1975-1981) and Calaca Academy, Batangas (1981-1985) before pursuing Mechanical Engineering at the University of the East (1985-1991).

With extensive experience in government service, Casanova worked as a Confidential Agent/Intelligence Officer at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) from 1999 to 2010. He later served as Executive Officer of Barangay BF Homes (2007-2013) and has been a Barangay Kagawad since 2013, focusing on public safety, peace and order, and social welfare.

As a legislator, he has authored key ordinances, including:

• Barangay BF Homes Truck Ban Regulation Act of 2014
• Anti-Half Naked Ordinance
• Barangay BF Homes Muffler Ordinance 2024

His advocacy extends to medical and financial assistance programs for residents, the “Libreng Jeep sa mga Namatayan” initiative, and the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP). Through his leadership, he continues to champion peace and order while providing essential services to the community.
